The usage of Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA) in shoes and sandal is generally regarded as safe. Because EVA is BPA-free and doesn't require a plasticiser, it's seen as a safer substitute. An option to PVC-free plastic that is safer is EVA, according to the Centre for Health, Environment, and Justice (CEHJ). So, it is said that EVA is environmentally friendly.
